ForeFlight was founded by pilots, for pilots. We have flight time in a variety of aircraft such as Cessnas, Pipers, Diamonds, and Cirrus. When we fly, which is as often as possible, we make extensive use of our own products - we've found no better way to make sure we're creating useful tools for pilots than to test them on ourselves.

Flying is in our blood. Both founders are proud to each have a grandfather that flew B-24s in WWII and so we carry on the family tradition of taking to the air today.

We have also built up a great team of beta-testers and advisors - many of whom fly for a living. They are a valued source of terrific feature ideas, as are all of our customers!
