Updating an iPhone Application
The easiest way to update an iPhone application, such as ForeFlight Mobile or Checklist, is to use the App Store icon on your phone.

What if I don't see the update in the App Store icon?
First you should make sure you are running the latest iPad, iPhone or iPod touch firmware. If you are up-to-date with your firmware, you may simply need to wait a few hours - Apple's worldwide update system may not notify you immediately of the new version.
How do I tell what version I'm already running?
First, make sure the ForeFlight icon is blue with a white sunburst and white airplane. Earlier versions of the app had a yellow sunburst.
On the iPad, launch the app and tap on the 'More' button in the bottom-left. Then, select 'About' at the bottom of the list on the left. The version number will be listed at the very top of the window that pops down: "About v4.1".
On the iPhone, launch the app and swipe the main screen to the right. Tap on the 'About' icon. The version number will be listed at the very top: "About v4.1".
After I updated, why is the app asking me to purchase a subscription again?
Sometimes during an app update, your subscription information is not migrated correctly. You just need to sign into the app and you'll be set. Instructions for signing into the app are here.
