ForeFlight for Australia
Join ForeFlight support team members and Australian pilots Greg McAllister and Kristina Brown as they discuss the recent ForeFlight release, which brought support for our all-in-one solution to general aviation pilots and flight departments in the Australian region. Access Airservices VFR & IFR Enroute Charts, Procedure & Aerodrome Charts, Documents, file flights directly, and much more all within ForeFlight.
Global Procedure Advisor
All ForeFlight customers can now access international departures, arrivals, and approaches using Procedure Advisor, expanding the scope of ForeFlight’s global planning capabilities.
These global flight planning features are further enhanced by adding Jeppesen’s industry-leading charts to your ForeFlight account. Check out our other videos on purchasing Jeppesen charts through ForeFlight and linking an existing Jeppesen account to learn more.
IFR Flight Planning & Filing in Europe
Join ForeFlight Pilot Support Team member Wolfgang Oestreich to learn the essentials of planning, filing, and flying IFR in Europe. Wolfgang will explain how to configure your aircraft’s filing codes, how to easily generate and file a EUROCONTROL-valid route in seconds, and how to organise the procedure charts you’ll need for the flight.
Link an Existing Jeppesen Subscription
ForeFlight customers who already have a Jeppesen chart subscription can now activate that subscription in ForeFlight to access their charts. If you don’t have a subscription through Jeppesen and are interested in adding their charts, check out our other video on purchasing Jeppesen charts through ForeFlight.
This video also covers the activation process for multi-pilot accounts, which must be done on ForeFlight’s web application. Account managers wishing to add Jeppesen charts must purchase them through Jeppesen, not ForeFlight. To start the conversation, email foreflight@jeppesen.com.
Map Annotations
Take notes on the fly and mark up charts using ForeFlight’s Map Annotations feature.
Mountain Passes & More in High Resolution Basemap
ForeFlight’s High Resolution Basemap includes Jeppesen-sourced terrain and cultural elements such as mountain passes, highway labels, and more for improved inflight reference.
The Basemap is what you see with no other charts or maps other than the Aeronautical Map enabled, and depicts terrain, roads, urban lighting, and more. Download the High Resolution Basemap for any region in More - Downloads.
