Runway Details
- Easily find direction-dependent runway details using the new toggle located at the top of Airports > Runway > Runway Details or by tapping the airport on the map.
- Additionally, declared distances (TORA, TODA, ASDA, LDA), are now displayed in Runway Details and honor your runway distance unit setting available in More > Settings > Units/Time > Runway Length.
- A windsock icon displayed in the runway direction toggle indicates which direction has the most favorable wind conditions, and ForeFlight automatically selects the direction with the best winds each time you access Runway Details.
VFR Helicopter Waypoints
- Customize and declutter the Aeronautical Map view by showing or hiding helicopter-only VFR waypoints using the new toggle in Map Settings > Waypoint Settings > VFR Helicopter Waypoints.
- Enabled by default, this setting can be found alongside RNAV & Fixes and VFR Waypoints in Aeronautical Map Settings while the VFR Aeronautical Mode is selected.
New Runway Analysis Aircraft Support
- ForeFlight’s advanced Runway Analysis add-on for turbine aircraft is now available for the Nextant 400XT, Beechcraft 1900D, and Cessna C208 with APE III STC.
