Make better-informed decisions in an LOI event or when GPS reliability is uncertain. Compare your GPS-derived position with a position calculated from nearby VOR/DME navaids, and quickly determine whether your navigation system is providing accurate information or if it may be compromised by interference or spoofing.

Tap any VOR/DME navaid on the Aeronautical Map to open the Cross-Check tool within the details slide-out. ForeFlight will then display both your GPS position and the manually calculated navaid-based position, allowing you to clearly and confidently evaluate the deviation.

Release notes

When you suspect interference with your GPS position, use the GPS Cross-Check tool to compare your GPS-derived position with one calculated from nearby VOR/DME navaids.
Access the tool by tapping any VOR/DME navaid on the Aeronautical Map. Select GPS Cross-Check and input the radial and distance from that navaid to view any deviation between the two sources.
Available with ForeFlight Premium for individuals, Business Performance for flight departments, and MFB One for military and government.
