Getting started
Enable Instructor Tools
Visit the Instructor Tools menu in Logbook, or enable it in the Logbook Settings menu. Add your CFI certificate number and set up a digital signature.
Invite your students
Tap the My Rewards banner to send an invite. Your unique referral link tracks and applies your earned discounts to your account, and gives students* 10% off their subscription.
Track your rewards
After an eligible student* creates five signed logbook entries, rewards appear automatically in My Rewards. Earn 20% off for your first referral, and 5% for each additional student invited to ForeFlight for up to 100% off your subscription.
Redeem rewards
Apply your discount immediately, or stack multiple rewards for an even bigger savings! Rewards can be redeemed any time within 12 months of your first invitation.
FAQs
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE CFI REFERRAL PROGRAM?
CFIs with an active, paid individual ForeFlight subscription that includes the U.S. region are eligible. ForeFlight Business and Military accounts are not eligible.
*HOW DO MY STUDENTS QUALIFY?
Students must be invited through Instructor Tools in ForeFlight Logbook and must complete five signed logbook entries with you as their instructor. They must be new ForeFlight users who have not previously been on a paid subscription plan.
WILL MY STUDENTS RECEIVE ANY BENEFIT?
Yes. Eligible students can get 10% off any ForeFlight subscription plan when they subscribe within 35 days of receiving their referral invitation email, which includes a link to apply the discount at checkout.
HOW MUCH CAN I EARN?
Earn 20% off with your first qualifying referral, and an additional 5% off for each referral after that for up to 100% off your next subscription upgrade or renewal. Discounts can be applied at checkout as soon as they are earned.
DO REWARDS EXPIRE?
Yes. Rewards must be redeemed within 12 months of your initial referral invite and do not roll over. ForeFlight will send you reminder emails when your rewards are close to expiring so you can apply them before losing them.
CAN I COMBINE THE CFI REFERRAL PROGRAM DISCOUNT WITH OTHER PROMOTIONS OR DISCOUNTS?
The CFI Referral Program discount can’t be combined with any other offers, promotions, or discounts.
