Tyson is a software entrepreneur and private pilot. His first venture was Atension, a dorm-room startup that was acquired by a public company in 1999. He then directed software engineering at BenefitFocus, where flying was part of the corporate DNA.
Prior to ForeFlight, Tyson was a venture partner with SMH Private Equity Group. Tyson holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Business Administration from Trinity University and an MBA from Rice University.
Jason is a software engineer by training and a private pilot by fascination. He has earned his IFR rating and complex/high performance/high altitude endorsements, and flies a Cirrus SR22 and TBM 900.
Prior to ForeFlight, Jason was Director of Technology at INCOGEN, a bioinformatics company. Jason holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Clemson University.
Adam started his first company at age 5, making custom greeting cards on an Apple IIc. Since then, he's built software for Wyndham Hotels, Radio City Music Hall, and the Texas State Prison System.
Prior to ForeFlight, Adam was a founding member of the Advanced Computing Lab at SAS Institute. Adam holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Trinity University.
Tim is a software company executive who loves to fly planes on the side. He is instrument rated and enjoys cross country flying to family events.
After a B. S. in Computer Science from Texas A&M and some early engineering roles, Tim took on product, services, and support leadership roles for companies like IBM and CA Technologies prior to joining ForeFlight.
Stephen brings more than 20 years experience in business strategy, marketing, sales, digital product development and content production.
Prior to landing at ForeFlight, Stephen was co-founder/CEO of Mouth Watering Media, a member of the SMT at New York Times Digital, and a producer at CNN. Stephen holds a B.A. from Tufts University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Malcolm brings over 17 years experience in software development, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and map visualization systems. Malcolm is a private pilot with ASEL and ASES ratings. His other primary interests include wood working, 3D graphics visualizations, and unmanned/autonomous flight systems.
Prior to landing at ForeFlight, Malcolm was founder/principal at Digital Sectional, LLC, an architect at Verisign, and development manager at Retail Solutions.
Gregg has practiced law for more than 12 years, first as a litigator in private practice and more recently as in-house counsel. He is also a serial entrepreneur managing, investing, or working in at least 10 start-ups.
Prior to joining ForeFlight, Gregg was general counsel at an industrial services company and associate general counsel at a chemical company. Gregg holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado, an M.A. in anthropology from the University of Kentucky, and a J.D. from the University of Texas.
